Dr. Dean Kayser
Approaching his fourth decade in health care, Dr. Dean Kayser is a board-certified audiologist, owning his own practice for 22 years and counting. A resident of Des Moines, Iowa since 1982, he received his bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences from Purdue University, his master’s degree in audiology from Central Michigan University, following it up with a doctorate in audiology from the latter, as well.
Originally deciding on a path towards becoming an electrical engineer, Dr. Kayser refocused on audiology based on an interest in working more directly with people. He believes strongly in a culture of trust amongst his patients, building his hearing care strategies around demonstration access to the most cutting-edge technology available, making it easier for patients to make decisions about how to get the best hearing results at the best value.
When not at the office, Dr. Kayser can be found cycling, growing his music collection or keeping his engineering interests alive with his amateur radio license and refurbishing audio equipment.
Dr. Kayser is a member of the American Auditory Society, American Speech-Hearing-Language Association, American Academy of Audiology, Iowa Speech-Language-Hearing-Society and the Iowa Hearing Association.
